Who we are
Go Literate Africa is a dynamic non-profit organization established in Lagos State, Nigeria in 2021 to foster comprehensive development of young people in Africa, empowering them to maximize their full potential. Our organization is driven by a passionate force of change-makers committed to transforming lives regardless of limitations. We take on the vital responsibility of educating and mentoring young individuals, instilling strong leadership values to help them become achievers through our programs.
Over the past four years, we have developed an inclusive learning environment that enables young people to exceed their perceived limits. Through our diverse programs and digital educational outreach, we have successfully transformed the lives of 215 young individuals.
We are deeply committed to addressing global needs and align our efforts with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

Gbenga Adebayo - Founder
Gbenga Adebayo is a resourceful tech enthusiast and results-driven designer with a robust six-year track record. He is driven by a passion for infusing creativity into every project, serving as a visual storyteller across various domains. As a creative professional, he has helped start-ups and business owners scale their impact globally through functional, modern creatives, strategy development, and his extensive professional experience. Beyond his design expertise, Gbenga possesses a diverse skill set that includes effective leadership, people management, creative direction, team building, innovation, and strategic networking. He leverages these skills to help young people and brands scale up purposefully. Gbenga has served as a Youth Mentor, Program Coordinator, and he has been invited to speak at numerous events for young people. Thriving in dynamic environments, he consistently delivers exceptional results through a multifaceted approach as a nation-builder.
Nofisat Nojeem - Cofounder
Nofisat Nojeem is deeply passionate about education, believing it to be the cornerstone of success in all areas of life. She actively volunteers with reputable organizations, focusing on developing and managing projects, implementing step-down projects, and advocating for various causes. Nofisat has extensive experience in comprehensive sexual education for adolescents and advocacy. Her skills have been effectively utilized in various projects, including her role as a Youth Ambassador for the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, her involvement with UNFPA/YPP, and her speaking engagements for the Stand Up and Speak Out campaign, among many others. Beyond her dedication to social development, Nofisat holds certifications in project management from Google and digital marketing. She is also a proficient content writer and digital marketer with expertise in email marketing, fiction writing, and creating social media content. Currently, Nofisat is pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria.
